Well the unthinkable happened – it actually snowed. Ok, so technically we have gotten snow already this winter, but yesterday was the first time that we had enough to actually shovel (I say “we” but I really meant my hubby). Unfortunately the snow was very quickly coated with a few layers of freezing rain, thus making its playability a bit limited. The girls gave it a whirl anyhow – they last about 15 minutes outside before they were ready to come back in. Hard, crunchy, slippery snow just isn’t a 3 & 4 year olds forte. Perhaps the next snow will be a bit more child friendly.
